Spiritual Wellness

Care of the body is complemented by care for the mind and spirit. Mark Twain Medical Center has a chaplain who helps patients cope with the fears and anxiety that often come with illness and hospitalization, and who supports families and caregivers who are dealing with grief and loss. Presently, we are only able to fund chaplaincy services for four hours a week, and we need to do more for our patients and their loved ones.

Help us to ease suffering with compassion Your gift will help us to fund the salary of a full-time chaplain to provide our patients with spiritual counseling, and will enable us to extend chaplaincy services to anyone in the greater community who is coping with illness or loss. Donate now
