Mark Twain Medical Center is here for you during this critical time as our community rises to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 global pandemic. Our Emergency Preparedness Fund assists Mark Twain Medical Center's efforts to respond to the ongoing crisis.

 Donate with Funds or PPE Equipment 

The Foundation is also accepting donations of unused and unopened personal protective equipment (PPE) to be used in the hospital. For inquiries about PPE donations please call 209.754.2624 or email 

Examples of helpful PPE Donations include:

  • N95, surgical, procedure masks
  • Latex-free gloves
  • Protective goggles
  • Face shields: industrial, Maxair Controlled Purifying Respirator (CAPR) shields
  • Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) hoods
  • Isolation gowns
  • Painter smocks (impermeable)

*At the discretion of healthcare leaders, your PPE donations may be re-directed to neighboring hospitals. We are all working together, sharing resources, and caring for our entire community. Cash gifts will benefit Mark Twain Medical Center only and will not be redirected outside of Calaveras County.
